>I didn't realise the US government promoted war-time gardening with the term "Victory Garden" as well. I thought it was just a British thing. You learn something new every day
>You rarely hear this term today, though I still like it…it's a nod to my mom who was a girl during WWII. When I was a kid she used to talk about the victory gardens they had. And today the term seems more appropriate than ever.
