Lebanese Flavored Chicken and Brown Rice

This is an easy recipe with many variations. It’s a variation of Lebanese Chicken-And-Rice I grew up eating as a kid. Start by searing a couple chicken breasts until they are golden brown. Use a heavy skillet, sear it in olive oil with the skin-side down first, and make sure that the oil is nearlyContinue reading “Lebanese Flavored Chicken and Brown Rice”

Schools and businesses were closed; many were without electricity; windows on some homes and businesses blew in. This photo doesn’t really do it justice, but here’s a picture of my street. It was garbage day.IContinue reading “Wind Storm and Whole Wheat Bread”

Heat a large skillet with olive oil, then add sliced sausage and diced, cooked potato. Cook and Saute until browned. Remove the sausage and potatoes from the skillet and set aside. Add aContinue reading “Just One Skillet”
