>Autumnal
> The day today was idyllic and classically autumnal. It’s rare for me to have a Saturday off of work, so I took the opportunity to enjoy the day on my bike while running errands. Whenever I’m heading to North Buffalo by bike I always try to make it a point to take the longContinue reading “>Autumnal”

A Sure Sign of Spring
Amidst the dried leaves, weeds, and other natural debris in my neighbor’s front yard after the last melt of a long winter, these precious little flowers were poking through…brilliant colors in a sea of brown, beige, and last season’s green. Too beautiful not to ponder.

3rd Generation Sunflower
I planted a sunflower close to my front porch two years ago. Last year a few feet in front of the original location another grew without me planting it…seeds fell and it replanted itself. This year a few feet further the same thing happened. Nature takes care of itself if we let it. Beautiful. IContinue reading “3rd Generation Sunflower”

First Day of Spring
It is the first day of Spring today…and that’s what I was thinking about as I rode my Yuba home from work today (it has been a long cold winter). As I approached my house the little dot of yellow in this photo literally stopped me in my tracks. It’s in the front yard ofContinue reading “First Day of Spring”
